Evergy was engaged to provide technical advisory for the transaction of the Eifel Wind Farm, which formed part of a larger asset portfolio. Since then, Evergy has continued to deliver ongoing technical consultancy services for the project.

The Eifel Wind Farm was constructed in three phases between 2005 and 2007, incorporating wind turbines from Nordex and Enercon. The turbines are connected to a private transformer substation operating at 110 kV.

The services of Evergy comprised in particular:

  • Technical Due Diligence for the operational asset at the time of transaction
  • Ongoing energy yield assessments based on production data
  • Performance evaluation and technical availability analysis
  • Assessment of turbine retrofit options and technical enhancements
  • Ongoing consultancy on operational and regulatory aspects

  • Technical advisory on extension and renegotiation of operational project contracts

Największe wrażenie zrobił na mnie pływający park solarny Uivermeertjes. Jest to jeden z największych pływających parków fotowoltaicznych w Europie, a ja byłem tam, aby dokonać inspekcji. Pływające farmy słoneczne są technicznie wymagające i pozwalają zaoszczędzić powierzchnię na suchym lądzie.
A floating solar park Uivermeertjes has impressed me the most. It’s one of the biggest floating PV parks in Europe and I was there to make the inspection. Floating solar farms are technically challenging and allow to save area on dry land.
