Evergy was engaged to provide technical advisory for the transaction of the Eifel Wind Farm, which formed part of a larger asset portfolio. Since then, Evergy has continued to deliver ongoing technical consultancy services for the project.

The Eifel Wind Farm was constructed in three phases between 2005 and 2007, incorporating wind turbines from Nordex and Enercon. The turbines are connected to a private transformer substation operating at 110 kV.

The services of Evergy comprised in particular:

  • Ongoing energy yield assessments based on production data
  • Performance evaluation and technical availability analysis
  • Assessment of turbine retrofit options and technical enhancements

I think floating photovoltaics is cool. Old quarry ponds can be used for a CO2-neutral energy supply.
