PV Plant
Jaisalmer

Evergy conducted a Technical Due Diligence for the Jaisalmer PV project prior to construction and continued to provide Owner’s Engineering services throughout the execution phase.

The project spans approximately 1,200 acres of arid desert land near the village of Bhinajpura, about 90 km from Jaisalmer city. The plant utilizes bifacial module technology and central inverters. The scope also included the development of grid infrastructure connecting the PV plant to the 220 kV high-voltage grid through a 400/220 kV substation operated by the grid operator.

The services of Evergy comprised in particular:

  • Technical Due Diligence prior to financial close
  • Assessment of soiling risks and evaluation of robotic cleaning solutions for energy yield optimization
  • Presentation of technical review findings to the client’s investment board
  • Technical inspections at Provisional and Final Acceptance (PAC and FAC)
  • Support in rectifying punch list items during PAC and FAC stages

A floating solar park Uivermeertjes has impressed me the most. It’s one of the biggest floating PV parks in Europe and I was there to make the inspection. Floating solar farms are technically challenging and allow to save area on dry land.
