Evergy provided Technical Due Diligence services for the acquisition of the Bartow PV Plant and continued to support the Client as Owner’s Engineer throughout the procurement and construction phases.

The Bartow project comprises two PV subsystems with capacities of 200 MWp and 60 MWp, respectively. Both systems are connected to the 380 kV transmission grid through a dedicated medium-voltage cable route and a project-owned 30/380 kV transformer station. Construction of the PV plant commenced in Q1 2024, with commercial operation (COD) planned in Q3 2025.

The services of Evergy comprised in particular:

  • Technical assistance in EPC tender evaluation
  • Support during EPC and O&M contract negotiations
  • Review and approval of detailed EPC engineering design
  • Construction monitoring during project execution
  • Technical inspections at key milestones (PAC and FAC)

Floating-Photovoltaik finde ich cool. Alte Baggerseen werden nutzbar für eine CO2-neutrale Energieversorgung.
I think floating photovoltaics is cool. Old quarry ponds can be used for a CO2-neutral energy supply.
