Evergy has been mandated with the Technical Due Diligence of the projects Tórtoles I and Tórtoles II, which were part of a larger project portfolio.

The projects Tórtoles I and Tórtoles II are two wind warms in close vicinity with a total number of 35 turbines located in the region of Castilla y León. At the time of the mandate both projects were still under development. The final wind farm layout was still to be determined, final permits were still pending. The projects comprised a quite complex grid connection design with of connection at 400 kV voltage level to the grid of Red Eléctrica de Espana,

The services of Evergy comprised in particular:

• Full energy yield assessment for different wind farm layouts based on onsite wind measurements
• Evaluation of the development status and of the probability of reaching Ready to Build status
• Review of the technical design
• Provision of CAPEX and OPEX assumptions for the financial model
